Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: October 2026

WeTooling currently does not use affiliate links. When we mention a vendor, product, or service in an article, that mention is a reference — a starting point for your own evaluation — not a promotion, and we earn no commission from it.

Why this page exists anyway

We plan to participate in affiliate marketing programs in the future, once this site has enough readers for those programs to accept us. The U.S. Federal Trade Commission requires that any material connection between a publisher and the companies it covers be clearly disclosed — so this page is that disclosure, published early on purpose, and it applies to every page on this site.

What will change when affiliate links appear

  • This page will be updated first, before any affiliate link goes live, and the change will be dated.
  • Affiliate links will be presented as clearly marked calls-to-action, so you can always tell them from ordinary references.
  • Affiliate relationships will never decide what we recommend. We state who a tool is wrong for, even when that costs us a commission.

What we don’t do

We do not accept payment in exchange for coverage, and we do not rank a product higher because its commission rate is higher. Recommendations on this site are situational — they depend on your team size, budget, compliance requirements, and existing stack, not on who pays us.

Accuracy of information

Pricing, features, version details, and other specifics in our articles reflect what the vendor’s documentation and our cited sources said at the time of writing, and are dated accordingly. Vendors change pricing, plans, and terms without notice, and we can’t guarantee every detail is still accurate by the time you read it — always confirm current pricing and terms on the provider’s own site before deciding. WeTooling is not liable for losses or damages arising from reliance on information found on this site.
